I have known Phil for a number of years. He has always been that person in the room full of people, telling a great story, witty comments abound and always a lot of laughter surrounding him. He always makes sure his friends are enjoying themselves. So it is no wonder he found someone like Sonia, a charming, genuinely sweet woman who loves people and loves to laugh.
When you spend a bit of time with them as a couple you hear them say, “Mi Amor” to each other, and quite often (it is their nick name for each other). So often in fact, that their friends and family tease them and call them the Mr. and Mrs. Mi Amor.

Phil and Sonia’s wedding was so much fun to photograph. Everybody really enjoyed themselves, lots of love and laughter. Both are known to be contagious.
Phil is definitely soaking up Sonia’s loving words…….

Half of the bridal party had flown in from Mexico, they were all really good sports about going outside into the cold night for photos….
It is always important to appreciate your Best man.
Sonia is deliriously happy with her son here from Mexico, her daughter here from Vancouver Island and Mi Amor, her three Loves.

I spoke with Phil earlier, he told me how important this image has become to him and Sonia.
This is Heather LeGree blessing Phil and Sonia’s wedding rings. Sadly Heather has passed. Phil and Sonia feel blessed to have shared their special day with her. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
